More SHSAT stuff
I need help with this because the choices all seem the same!
If a student took the math contest, then that student was on the team. No student in the Algebra class took the Math Contest.
Based only on the information above, which of the following MUST be true?
(F) If a student was on the team, then that student took the Math Contest
(G) No student who took the Math Contest was in the Algebra class.
(H) If a student did not take the Math Contest, then that student was in the Algebra class.
(J) If a student did not take the Math Contest, then that student was not in the Algebra Class.
(K) No student in the Geometry class took the Math Contest. (obviously this one is wrong.)
I know the answer for these two below, but I'm not sure.
In triange XYZ the measure of angle Y is twice the measure of angle X, and the measure of Z is three times the measure of angle X. What is the measure of Angle Y?
(F)15
(G)30
(H)45
(J)60
(K)90
Mathias and Shawn together are stronger than Carlos and Gary together. Mathias and Gary together are stronger than Shawn and Carlos togehter. It MUST be true that
(A) Mathias is stronger than Shawn
(B) Mathias is stronger than Carlos
(C) Mathias is stronger than Gary
(D) Shawn is stronger than Carlos
(E) Gary is stronger than Carlos
Scrambled Paragraphs, ugh it's so annoying. I need you guys to check this
Lead: The traditional view of women's participation in the War Between the States is a picture of women keeping the home going, knitting socks, rolling bandages, and nursing the wounded.
____(Q) Some women traveled with the troops as helpmates of their husbands or as laundresses for the soliders.
____(R) These stay-at-home activities were important contributions of women but by no means indicated the limits of feminine activity.
____(S) Others did more dangerous work as smugglers, carrying important messages and sometimes scarce medicines across the lines.
____(T) So, no matter how most people remember women's participation today, it is clear that they played an important role during the war, supporting the troops in many different ways.
____(U) And there were women with even more perilous roles: Some women had to defend their homes against invading soliders, and others actually donned uniforms and fought alongside their men.
Whoever helps me with this, I will LOVE YOU FOREVER.
