[important]GM Rules.

So after reading some GM apps i think this thread may be beneficial before applying for Gm.
If you're chosen as a GM, you MUST follow these rules in addition to the forum rules, or you will be deranked.

1. Don't abuse your power(obviously)
2. NEVER be rude without a reason. And being in a bad mood is NOT A REASON.
3. If you're hosting an event, DO NOT warp the entire server to where you are. Yes, people like events, but they may be busy, don't interrupt what they're doing.
4. If doing a hide and seek event, have a maximum of three rounds. NO MORE.
5. If doing a summoning event, it can't last for longer than five minutes. Excessive summoning causes lag on the server.
6. MUST be mature.
7. MUST be literate. (this means no chatspeak, including "u" and "r")
8. MUST be honest. If I catch you in a lie, you will be deranked.
9. No giving out free items to players. You can give out prizes of your choice for winning an event, but no free items unless a shop is broken.
10. Absolutely NO STARTING DRAMA OR PARTICIPATING IN DRAMA. I WILL derank you if i see you taking part in a situation that is causing a lot of drama in the server. If a player is bothering you, do not insult them, warp them elsewhere or jail them.

what you need to know if you'd like to be a GM
Okay, for one, a lot of people tend to post under the "what do you do when you see a hacker?" part of the application "tell them to stop." THIS IS BAD. If you let them know you think they're hacking, they will make a new account and hack on there. You need to be SURE they're hacking, then permaban them. That's all there is to it. There's no need to communicate with hackers. They're not worth it. That sounds harsh, but they're ruining our server.
Another thing GMs should be aware of is this:
It's not mandatory, but if a player is harassing you, I wouldn't waste my time "asking them nicely to stop." Just warp them somewhere else(nowhere dangerous). This is not abuse of power if you were provoked. HOWEVER, if you have a personal grudge on a player, you CANNOT just follow them around and send them other places. This will result in a suspension of power or possibly get you deranked permanently. Like I stated before, LollyMS GMs MUST BE MATURE. Holding a personal grudge is a sign of immaturity.

Now, less serious matters. If you want to host an event, you don't need to ask permission. But DON'T HOST MORE THAN FIVE EVENTS PER DAY. Then building characters becomes boring and too easy for the players. Also, you do not need to ask permission to jail a user. They can get out. And if you see someone hacking, and you're SURE they're hacking, no need to ask before banning them. GMs spend too much time worrying what the owner will say if they do "something wrong" and they don't take action when they need to. If you do something wrong, I will let you know. If you break an obvious rule(as in a rule stated here) then you will be suspended or deranked, so KEEP THESE RULES IN MIND.

This is all for now. Sorry this was so long, but there are high standards for GMs on LollyMS. This isn't like VitalityMS that lets bratty 8-year-olds be a GM because they payed fifty bucks. We won't "settle" when choosing our GMs, so if you're chosen, you should be honored.
