All in one shops or no all in one shops

I do not think this is the right section for this, but I will put it here. I have had a bad, bad grudge on all in one shops! I think they make things too easy and take out the value of hunting for stuff. Id also like their to be no skill maxer, butt hat prolly wont happen. Put your votes in and I want to see the results. Post under here WHY you support your vote.




I say no, they make players not have to do ANYTHING other than train, it will also set up an economy where you will either have to buy or hunt for your stuff. I like low rate servers better than high rates and if we get more features, I suggest to change the rates. Just my opinion.

I agree to the all in one shop thing, but wouldn't that just repel all the players away from LollyMS? Hmm...There should be one, but they need enough "points" to get to the All in One NPC. I don't know how to do the point system, but perhaps if someone does (I think it's possible) 5 points will be awarded for every event, or every 5 reborns. Once they reach 100 points they'll have access to the all in one shop. Oh, and the level 110 weapons can be given out (scrolled 5 times) in events, if they can't get it. (I know, this paragraph is really messy but oh well.)

Oh. There should definitely be a skill maxer. If there isn't then people would DEFINITELY NOT join LollyMS.

Also, there should be low rates. That one I'm with ENTIRELY.

(EDITED!) :: People should also work for their NX. (I've seen this in KyraMS, you don't know how many people join 'cause of that.)How about we put 1 NX slime in the FM, 1 in each and every town (in Victoria island) INCLUDING Sleepywood, and one in El Nath? (Yes. I like El Nath.) AND ALSO, we can put an NPC that gives out all this information so no players will be confused!

I support most of that, but that wont repel many players. It repels the high raters, but attracts the low rate lovers. I play many low rate servers without a skill maxer, they do fine, no free NX, no shop, nothing. Just maple with add ins.

Oh...but hmm...I think we should have a skill maxer. Or should we? Hmm...Because then it'll be pretty unique, but most people would just think we were lazy and didn't care much about the server.

There should be a skill maxer if the rates are going to be that high, but if the rates are lower, defanitely take off a skill maxer. This is just to see peoples opinions on this, it's not like this is mandetory or anything.

A skill maxer would be good. Instead of adding skill points after every level, they can just go on without worrying! As for the point system, I can help.

Natural, have you seen any sucsessful low rate private server? Player would be overpowered and there would be INSANELY little ecconomy, without the need for mastery books, not only this topic is old, we have had alot of discussion about it in game before our old host left.

By making the NPC add only the skills of the First, third, and second jobs ( with the exception of some third job skills), this could easily be solved.

Tha takes the point out of going low rate. =S. And with shops, no economy. If we have a all in one/skill maxer, we may as well go higher rates. I mean, leveling would be way to easy. I could be level 120 in a day or 2 if we did that. Besides, again, this poll is old and we discussed it alot more ingame. =C

How'd it go?

It went both ways, some people liked the idea, some didn't. Some people thought it would be to hard, others thought there should be certain things, etc etc. So far it seems me, Krisseh and some other players are in the idea of just a plain old server, low rates with custom features, NO AiO OR SKILL MAXERS. We are still deciding. Not only it isn't my decission, Kayleigh has the final say.

Wow, that seems so plain. Plain server with customization. Economy in other servers revolve around "rare" Nx.

The thing about rare NX is it isn't needed and people would rather become stronger than get a new hat that they don't need. Go check low-rate servers, they have more success than the plain servers that revolve around things you don't need or have to much spoon feeding/to high rates. Only the completely custom servers are successful.

Yes it is, go check servers like FarmerStory or NooBMS, they are fully custom, procoders/hosters on it, huge community. The whole shibang. That is why you see alot more low rate servers, due to more people joining a low rate servers with a few custom feature, and ways to level up and gain skill books, get custom items, etc.

One unique idea I liked to prevent account spamming is the new players place thinga-mabob. You gotta hunt for items to get out ;P Saw it from Rydah MS

Rydah MS is unprofessional. They only got to Gtop because of there dumb vote system, you need to vote for SRB and needed stuff. Not cool.

The hunting idea...is quite unoriginal. However, I think it should stop SOME account spamming. Though it would help a bit, it wouldn't stop it 100%, because it seemed pretty easy to go through. Hah.
